It was a great race, wasn't it? I was so hoping we would be under 2h with all the running we did the weeks before  and it paid off! Who cares about a little bit of chaffing on the most unusual places - something to work on for the next one  But I agree, the last 3k were the hardest!

Well done Audrey, Thats a great effort. My running has been a little slow the last few weeks as I have had a few free personal trainer sessions. By the end of that Im stuffed. Back to it next week.
Once again, great effort!!

Congrats on the time! Well done. Didn't make it to the race myself, but was interested to see how you'd done, so tracked down your blog.

Belly button chafing: I've had exactly the same thing happen on a couple of longer runs - for me its the top of the elastic shirring on the waistband on my running shorts. All I need to do is not wear them so high up my hips and all is well....

I am an outie so no chafing here! I was a bit startled when I saw the picture before reading the text. So happy for you going under 2hrs- that is my way long term goal.

Congrats on the race result - always good to get under a significant time goal like a 2hr HM!

Is it possible that the belly button chafing was from the race number, from a pin maybe ?
